Chris Obstarczyk has spent his legal career concentrating on cases involving plaintiffs who have sustained serious and traumatic injuries. Chris represents individuals in lawsuits involving negligence, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice and other cases involving serious personal injuries. He handles all aspects and phases of personal injury cases from the initial client interview through the ultimate resolution of the case. He has successfully litigated lawsuits in New York trial courts and has an extensive history of obtaining positive results for his clients.

Chris graduated, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Geneseo and from Albany Law School, cum laude. Following law school, Chris served as a law clerk at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department in Albany, New York. He was formerly associated with a prestigious Manhattan litigation law firm where he worked directly with some of the top trial attorneys in the country in medical malpractice actions brought against physicians and hospitals.

Chris is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. He is a member of the Albany County and Saratoga County Bar Associations as well as the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Chris sits on the Board of Directors for Transitional Services Association Inc., a non-profit organization providing restorative care and assistance to individuals dealing with mental illness and chemical dependency. In addition, Chris has been an active volunteer and mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters for nearly a decade.

Chris played hockey in college, ran the New York City marathon and is an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher.

Chris and his wife, Ela, live in Saratoga Springs with their daughter, Ursula.
