David Levy is an aggressive litigator who focuses his practice on personal injury litigation. David represents individuals in lawsuits involving negligence, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice and other cases involving serious personal injuries. David has handled all aspects of civil litigation, including motion and trial practice and has a strong history of obtaining successful outcomes for his clients.
David also focuses his legal practice on assisting clients with estate planning and elder law issues, as well traffic violations.
David is a graduate of Hartwick College and Albany Law School of Union University. He has worked at a prestigious Manhattan litigation firm, as well as several prominent law firms in the Albany, New York area.
David is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the Albany County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
David has been an active volunteer for The Legal Project in Albany, New York since 2000. The Legal Project is a private, non-profit organization, which provides free and low cost legal services to the poor, victims of domestic violence and other underserved individuals in the Capital Region. In 2007, David was awarded the Kurt Clobridge Memorial Award for Pro Bono Service. He was also awarded the New York State Bar Association's Empire State Counsel Award in 2006 for his pro bono service.
David is also a regular speaker for The Legal Project's "Legally Speaking" program, a free service offered to local community groups and organizations. David has presented on such topics as the New York State Court System, the civil litigation process in New York State, as well as the State and Federal discrimination laws.
David also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Food Pantries for the Capital District.
David and his wife, Jamie, live in Loudonville, New York with their son, Ty.
